About
Reyna is a therapist with a special interest in the treatment of ADHD, anxiety, and depression. With a trauma-informed approach, she hopes to support clients of all ages in navigating their executive dysfunction, anxiety, grief, interpersonal conflicts, and other stressors while recognizing the complexities of their strengths and barriers. Through a collaborative partnership, Reyna empowers clients to raise their distress tolerance and work towards self-actualization as they build a more fulfilling life.
Reyna also has first-hand experience with the stress of immigration and is dedicated to supporting families that may be struggling with intergenerational cultural conflicts and mental health stigma.
Born in South Korea, Reyna moved to the United States when she was five years old. After growing up in Montgomery County, Maryland, she received her BA in Psychology and Public Health at Columbia University. She then obtained her Master of Social Work at the University of Michigan with a focus on interpersonal practice in integrated health, mental health, and substance abuse, and also earned an Interprofessional Mini-Certificate in Trauma-Informed Practice.
Reyna spends her free time completing puzzles, playing video games, crocheting, and watching sports with her husband and their two cats, Natto and Dango.
